What is Universal Grading?
Universal grade for any grading tier receives a Blue Label, which is the main indicator that the comic inside the holder is not signed.
Current turnaround time for Modern Universal is 4-6 weeks.
CGC grading and authenticity standards are fundamental to its concept of third-party grading. Epikos Comics does not guarantee, nor is responsible for, the final grade on a product or any discrepancies therein.
Terms & Conditions
- Epikos Comics and Games is an authorized dealer and witnessing facilitator for CGC.
- Please note that comic book grading is conducted by CGC. Epikos Comics does not guarantee, nor is responsible for, any grading issues. This includes drops in grade for any graded slabs which are cracked/prepped for new events. While the utmost care will be given to all products, nothing is guaranteed.
- The liability of Epikos Comics and Games extends only to raw book current value and commences from when comic books are received to when they are returned to the address provided for services rendered. Epikos Comics and Games is not responsible for any damage, loss, or negligence which may occur outside this timeframe. Epikos Comics and Games will not be held responsible for any potential damage to any comic book(s) or other items submitted for services, where the damage occurs by the hand of the creator or celebrity. SUBMITTING COMICS/ITEMS FOR EVENTS IS DONE SO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
- Customers who choose to ship items to Epikos Comics and Games will do so securely in the best attempt to ensure that items are not damaged during shipping before being received.
- Current CGC turnaround time (TAT) is 4-6 weeks from the date CGC receives the submission. This TAT is subject to change at any time with no notice to customers, and is dependent on CGC’s workload or other factors.
- For Signature Series submissions, customer agrees that payment to Epikos Comics and Games will be made in full before signatures are obtained via signing events, conventions, etc.
- For Signature Series submissions, customer understands that Epikos Comics and Games is at the mercy of creators/artists/celebrities/etc. and/or their managers/representatives regarding private signing dates, delays, cancellations, etc. Epikos Comics and Games will issue a full refund and return any/all items immediately, ONLY AFTER AN EVENT/SIGNING HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN CANCELLED. Refunds will not be issued for signing delays. Epikos Comics and Games will safely hold items for postponed events for a maximum of 6 months. If the event is unable to be rescheduled within that time, a refund will be issued in full and items will be returned.
- By sending items to Epikos Comics and Games, the customer agrees to all terms and conditions set forth above.
